2008 will have the best lineup of games ever (especially for PS3 Users)

Gamespot just released a Topic about 2007 being the best year of games because of Resistance, Halo, Haze...

Burnout Paradise

The list goes on.....

god of war 3 could be a possiblility.

Those are some good games coming, but take note a lot of them will be for 360 too, so competition will be fierce on both systems. Oh and horrible news Final Fantasy fans who are deeply anticipating FFXIII and Vs XIII, Gameinformer a couple issues ago told us that FFXIII is a mess right now, and just getting the locales done will take about a year, and the rest of the other things will take longer. Sounds like it'll be mid to late 2009, or possibly early 09, that FFXIII will be coming, sorry to break it to you guys. But at least you guys are getting MGS4 and Killzone 2, both good looking exclusives. Too bad it'll be too late for you guys when FFXIII finally arrives......you know what I'm talking about.....360 and Wii will be in first and second, PS3 in third :) Oh well, at least you can pray that Killzone 2 and MGS4 will hopefully get a few PS3 sales....just too bad you don't have Halo 3, Ninja Gaiden 2, Gears of War 2, Halo Wars, Splinter Cell Conviction, whatever. And STOP saying Halo 3 is just an average FPS, because its NOT. It has amazing multiplayer, and the single player story and everything in it is done almost perfectly. You guys must be jealous of it because your precious MGS4 orKillzone 2 will neversell like that, or any other game. And does an average FPS sell 300 million dollars in sales in its first week? No it doesn't, and its still selling and will until the end of the 360 or even when the 360 will be replaced.gamefreakwill

It does increase ps3 sales because everybody knows Japanese buy systems like crazy over one game. Watch when DMC4 comes out and the ps3 sales sky rocket in japan while 360 sales in japan go from 4000 to 6000 while the ps3 sales quadruple every week. Same with MGS4 FF13/ VS 13 RE5 and any Japanese magnet title you can find. Regardless if its multi plat the Japanese aren't going to run out and get a 360 over a ps3 its just not happening.

MGS 4 GTA 4 Killzone 2 Ect i wonder if The Getway 3 will be out next year and 2 days to Vegas.

The best line-up of games ever was 1998. It had amazing games on many platforms and ground-breaking genre defining games. Half Life, Starcraft, FF7, Grim Fandango, Banjo Kazooie, Baldurs Gate, Resident Evil 2, Zelda OoT, MGS, Fallout 2.

Jeez will that year ever be beaten? Amazing 98 and I was glad to be able to play most of those games.

2007 has been a great year but nothing genre defining. I think 2008 will be as good maybe better than 07 but again I don't think it will be as amazing as 98 was.

But, there more people in europe and america? i know for sure people will buy more 360 versions down here in the eu as for the na im not sure - but japans population is small compared to eu and na :? it would just totally counter it

1997 for the N64 = Best year ever.
2007 for the 360 = Second best year ever
2008 for the PS3 = Very good year...not really history books

I'm a lemming, but this guy is complete garbage. Halo IS an amazing game, but there's no reason to bring this up out of no where. Gears 2 isnt comming out next year.

I have a 360 and I'm regret buying it right now... I bought it mainly for Halo 3... now that Halo 3 is out already, I have no other 360 exclusives to look forward to!

But for the PS3 game lineup in '08... and the price drop especially...I cant wait till I get my PS3!!
