Some questions about Gmod.

Hi, i'm going to get Gmod and am wondering about some things:

If i buy it with half life 2, will it be exactly the same as if i got it with portal/counterstrike ect?

How do i download extra skins, enviroments for it?

How do i go online with it?

It probaly won't be the same if you only have HL2, I wouldn't recommend buying Gmod without having CSS. HL2 will not give acess to portal items.

You can go online the same way as any other Source game, just open the multiplayer menu and find a server

For downloadable stuff you want to go to http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/ there's literally everything there.

1) No, GMOD gets its content from Source games, and it's the best option to get HL 2 first since it has the most content, but having Portal, CS:S, TF 2 etc will give you even more content.
