It needs to be a good quality trusting brand, because I will be using it to stream video games on Twitch, post YouTube vids, and I'm a bit of a shot-caller for my League of Legends team. I'm looking for a microphone attaching very loosely to my ear, like an earbud, or at most only conceals one of my two ears. I don't want a speaker headset -- I want a headset with a mic!
My computer environment is fairly far from my tower case, so the cable needs to be very long (8 ft+). My efforts in finding such a cable length are proving elusive. I'm open to attempting a wireless mic, but I'm concerned a wireless mic may compromise my audio quality -- I can't have audio interference (can anyone debunk this? What are the dangers of wireless vs. wired mics?).
