You need to install the EA Download Manager - so people who are fed up with adding 3'rd party applications might object to this. (This is actually why I prefer D2D - no third party software).

I discovered, when I ordered this, that I already have the EA Download Manager installed. I bought Airborne Assault last year. I forgot about that. I had to update the Manager, which took about 2 minutes. But I'm downloading now.

Here in Canada, Bad Company 2 is still selling for $59.99, so this was a nice deal for just $20. :)

Nothing. EA detects your country and sends you to a local store.

Only option is, you can connect to the internet via a USA proxy and see if that works.

I downloaded this program this afternoon - where did EA store the files?

Now that I've installed the game I just don't want 6 gigabytes worth of files lingering on my hard drive. I checked in my download folder, but the files weren't there?
