Hi.

Not sure if this is the right place, but I need some help.

I live in Australia, and I plan to buy a slim NTSC PS2 off eBay.com, so I can play NTSC games (as PAL games are generally inferior, as many know).

My TV supports 60hz, which I've ascertained by playing some games in 60hz mode. I know I'll need a step down converter (a 100 watt one, I think?) because of the voltage difference in European/US mains power.

So, say that I do get one off eBay and purchase a step down converter, I can use the converter to plug in the console, and because my TV supports 60hz, I can play games? I just need to know if I anything else is required, because I don't want to buy the console and converter, to find out I need to spend more money.

Any help will be appreciated. :)

I wannna play Persona 3 FES. >:/

This isn't really the right place but oh well at least you've been polite. I think you should be fine as long as your TV can take a 60Hz signal and you can actually plug in the console everything should be a-okay
