I would love to see it, but it's currently snowing and cloudy where I am.hokies1313I have actually got a clear sky tonight, so I should be able to see it pretty clearly. First time in quite a while I will be able see one fully.

from my view(Ontario) its at about 60% full. no signs of red yet. so am i not supposed to look directly at it or someone?
So the eclipse was supposed to start partially around five minutes ago, but I haven't seen much yet. Supposedly it will being in earnest around 10:00 EST, so I will be watching. Anyone else interested in seeing this? CrimzonTide

Yeah. I saw a picture of it from a couple years ago....its like completely red. Pretty cool.
I need to take some now before it's too late. I've missed all the past ones, so I want to remember this one. :Pi just went outside to check and wow, it's almost covered :o

It happens every few years with the earth, sun and moon become aligned together in space :)
