Source.

It's a world clock like any, except click the NOW button at the top and watch the numbers grow at the list. Quite sad indeed.

Kind of disturbing watching people being infected by HIV, the number of deaths piling, babies being aborted, and seeing the Earth's temperature gradually growing right in front of your eyes. :(

I'm quite intrigued as to how these statistics are generated and where they get their information from. Obviously they can't keep track of everything, so I'd assume it's some sort of exponential increase rule from averages gathered over a period of time.

This is really sad. I can't believe cancer incidents more than triples the number of HIV infections.

That is really interesting. I don't know if I would go as far to say it is sad, but it certainly does not give the most positive perspective on the world we live in.

I actually saw one go extinct on there and I was like "OMG!" When you click the 'Today' button it says that 33 species have gone extinct.

I don't think it's easy to get data on that... also... it's too trivial to matter.

Reminds me of that commercial like 1000 people die every minute from smoking or something. Those freakin tobascco commercials go too far, i mean, c'mon, if somone wants to smoke, it's alright they aren't going to live a short and depressing life or anything.

Wow, this is quite interesting. It's kind of crazy how many people die of these various causes every second.

Edit: It looks like the data sources are fairly reliable too.
