The pic is fake. Someone just photoshoped this existing picture of the DS headset:

DS Headset

I'm kinda hoping the whole chip thing doesn't pan out either. (I'd much rather have a wireless headset than a wired one)

I was thinking more along the lines of a rechargeable bluetooth headset. (perhaps even support for existing headsets... many of which can be charged off a USB port, and thus could be plugged right into the back of the Wii)

Having your head teathered up to the remote in a motion heavy game (eg Wii Sports) would be problematic at best.

yeah, exactly the headset has GOT to be wireless, or it would be useless,

I wouldn't use a Headset anyway. I've played with one and I never have much to say.

Yeah, too many kids that try to cuss you out.

Anyways, it'd be kinda cool like another user suggested to use a Bluetooth headset. Or if the Wii headset was a bluetooth. I just don't want a wired one, because what's the point of having the WIRELESS Wiimote and a wired mic :P lol.

But, I'm a mature trash talker. I hate those kids that cry and tells their mom on XBL.

Eh....I'm not sure. From my experience with Xbox Live, there seems to be WAY too many 12 year olds trying to be big and bad by cursing everyone everysingle minute. When I'm playing Brawl online, I don't feel like hearing the crap they have to say because I'm pwning them with Captain Falcon.

But if they do make a headset, it SHOULD be wireless. The wireless singal thing would probably go into one of the USB (or even GCN slots, you never know) slots.

Oh well, I'm fine without a mic anyway, I'm not much of a talker (except when I'm pwning everyone in Halo 2).

Well I just hate the ones with the super high pitched voices (luckily my voice got deeper earlier, so people thought I was older.

lol and yelling at their mom reminds me of that Choclate Milk thing.
