Gengar, Flareon, and Gyrados. Sadly all of these Pokemon are terrible in the current games.

There are so many cool pokemon that just aren't competitively viable. I'd love to use Ariados is he was even remotely usable, and to a lesser extent Pokemon like Altaria come to mind.

Since the late 1990s. I've always been a Cubone fan. When I was having problems defeating Ghost pokemon when exploring the Pokemon Tower, it was Cubone that not only appealed to me due to his weapon of choice and small size but that through using his Bone Club move I found that elemental attacks worked against ghosts. Also, in the original pokemon anime the Cubone and Morrowak species received only one episode each (after Ash earned the second badge when fighting against a know-it-all Pokemon Academy brat and again when they tried to help a trainer recover his stolen badges from Team Rocket on the way to Indigo Plateau).

Snorlax....once you max out all his stats or hell even get to level 65 its a beast.

Well for me it's Absol and Luxray. Even after I train them I can't use them cuz they are so bad.

Looking at what a lot of other people posted, you can tell who has played competitively and who hasn't. >____> Anyone who listed Nidoking, Gyarados, or Gengar is clueless. I admit I haven't been active in the metagame for several months, but last I checked all 3 were OU. They get their fair share of attention.
