I use mine all the time! Heck, I just bought mine last year, so I have so many great games I've missed out on that I'm in the process of playing right now. I can't believe how large a library it has, and with so many great games. I'll be playing mine for years to come.

Yep and I only play it for the JRPGs=)Devourment423
Same here because the ps2 has some good rpgs on it. I love that I can play my ps1 games on the ps2 what a great feature.
Offcourse ps2 games are so cheap now a days and the libary is big and full of great games, i play it more than my wii because its the superior system with its great tittels and ps1 back libary^^
Just bought a new game today for a good price,(here in norway at least)^^
Still gonna get a ps3 for mgs4 though.
I've owned all the consoles (except for PS3 lol) Wii got old, FAST. Xbox 360 was great, but poor selection of JRPGs. The PS2 will always be my favourite, because it has anything you might like. Anywho, you still play it? I'm guessing if you have a PS3 you don't. =PGaia27Nope, my PS2 has collected a lot of dust. My 360 is amazing, that's all I play. Gears never gets boring, (I only play online on that). Xbox Live is the best online gaming service I have ever used. :)
Getting a PS3 just for one game is a waste of money.Offcourse ps2 games are so cheap now a days and the libary is big and full of great games, i play it more than my wii because its the superior system with its great tittels and ps1 back libary^^

I still play PS2 games on my PS3, so technically I do still use my PS2. I do have a PS2 laying around, but why plug it in when I can just play on my PS3.keyransolo
I take it, you don't own Yakuza....

Yeah man, I played the heck out of CoD4, Halo 3, AC, Oblivion, GTA IV. It was great, but I just love the PS2's selection.

You'd be correct in that. I traded my PS2 towards my PS3. Otherwise I would 'cuz PS2 games on PS3 look just a tad blurry. That's only 'cuz it's trying to stretch the image to fit my 42" plasma. I DO still play my PS2 games, though.
I just started playing it a few months ago. My PS2 collection consists of few games...
Tekken 5 - Great
Guitar Hero 2 - Outstanding
Shadow Of The Colossus - Great
NHL 06 - Good
Twisted Metal Head-On Extra Twisted Ed. - Good
Megaman X7 - Sucks. A huge disappointment for this long-time Megaman fan...
DragonQuest VIII - Haven't played yet.
God Of War - One Of the Best Games Ever!
God Of War 2 - Currently Playing

Did you know there is a setting in the ps2's boot menu that will let you play your ps1 games with filtered textures and faster read times? Most people don't know about this because
A: Its barley noticeable in the menus
B: you need to set it, then put in the PlayStation disk, then boot the disk every time you want to use this feature.
