Anyone else feel as if the Dino Crisis Series is not finished?

I recently have become involved with playing PSX games and find myself falling in love with the Dino Crisis games all over again. Having been researching trying to get any news on a possible sequel to DC2 I have found nothing:(

I dont count Dino Crisis 3 as to be honest the game is literally unplayable and has by far the worst story line I have ever encountered. I would love opinions on the games and if you too would ike a sequel :)

Weaker series have been revived, but honestly, the ridiculous premise of 3 showed that the team was out of ideas, so while I loved the original, if DC stays dead, I'll be able to contain my grief.

I'd much rather see Molyneux revive B.C. (the dinos and cavemen game he was working on for the Xbox).

I liked the first very much, couldn't push myself past the first hour of the second. Never played the third (is it a bad thing?) I guess they could try and bring the series back, although dinosaurs have lost their popularity a decade ago, as the latest Turok clearly demonstrated.

They were awful games, so I'm not sure if it's necessary to complete. I can't even remember what the entire story was about.

They need to make another after the 'Dino Crisis 3' incident. Have all three still though.

Dino Crisis 2 is one of the best games i've ever played. I want a sequel, even after the disaster that is 3.

I remember playing a Dino Crisis game on the Dreamcast & I loved it. I kinda do hope they make another game of this series (:

I played the first two games, DC2 was awesome. Never got around to trying the third one though. I'd certainly love to see Capcom bring this series back, dinos rock.

It needs to be finished. Shinji Mikami would do well to file this series away in the "Don't" drawer. The first game was a flop, the second was precisely what the first game should have been, and the third I wouldn't dare have defiled my XBOX with that rubbish.

They already used ghost dinosaurs in space, where do they go from here?

I would love to see a new Dino Crisis.

I'll settle out of court for a new Parasite Eve though.

One the first and third I would agree with you, but DC2 was a really fun game. But as is typical of Capcom, once great features are used, you never see them again thereby killing any continuity. (think Resident Evil)

Turok is hardly a fair scapegoat when those games were horrible to begin with.

That's weird as I was only just thinking about this. With the success of the Monster Hunter franchise I wondered whether Capcom would be inspired to resurrect Dino Crisis (though I must say I've never actually played it). Or perhaps the very fact that Monster Hunter has become so successful cancels out any need for it.
