One of the most amazing games I've ever played!

Fatal Frame had a strong sense of originality. Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly has also done a good job with this, but it gives us more than what the first Fatal Frame had. The camera has a completely different look, as well as new ways to update it. My favorites were the blast and stun lenses. The camera in this game was more advanced. It was in a way, more fun to use than the original had been. Another thing new to the game play was that instead of roaming around in one mansion, you get to venture through an entire village! The town’s history unravels as you search in amazingly detailed areas. The story of All God’s Village is one of the most terrifying and depressing I’ve ever heard. I actually felt sorry for the suffering the people in the village had gone through. As in Fatal Frame, all the characters and ghosts have their own personalities and looks. Even the twins that you control have separate personalities that you see throughout the game. The producers did a good job in making you sympathize with the people. They come to life more with each part of the plot that is revealed. The plot is very gripping and will keep you going to finish the game. This game was able to really put me in Mio’s shoes in a way that I’ve never experienced before. This game had been able to scare me more than horror movies EVER could, and believe me; I’m extremely hard to scare. The graphics and sounds had been done brilliantly. Fatal Frame 2 will make its own stand in the horror gaming history. I definitely recommend it, especially those with an interest in this genre.
