Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is one hell of an entertaining, and hilarious, adventure.

It's the future apocalypse; the planet is now torn apart and it is, now, rampant with cyborgs, mutant animals, and colorful dragons. You, playing as Michael Biehn, playing as a generation-four cyborg commando, are assigned to cleanse this dragon infestation. That's right, to hell with the planet, let's go kill some dragons! Oh, I forgot to mention, this game doesn't take itself seriously. So, if you're a hardcore gamer or someone who loves a deep and intense plot - you may want to steer clear of this game.

I should mention, right now, that I wasn't born in the 80's; though, I did get most of the references. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon parodies a lot of games and movies such as Star Wars, The Terminator, Alien - Yes, the game also mentions the famous quote: I'MA FIRIN' MA LAZOR! ...or however the hell you pronounce that shit. Did I mention after playing this game I developed quite the potty mouth. Though, for people who haven't watched a lot of movies or games (living under a media rock) you may not enjoy this game. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon isn't a game for everyone, but to me it certainly hit right on the money. The cheesy plot, the hilarious content, the solid game-play, and the beautiful graphics: all of it made for an enjoyable, and entertaining, experience.

Let's, just, say that Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is instantly familiar for those who've played, or completed, Far Cry 3. The combat mechanics, the controls - it's all there and it's easy to use, even for those who aren't into video games or just coming into the video game experience now. It's a simple pick-up and play game that is definitely worth the fifteen-dollar asking price. You'll jump on unsuspecting guards and slit their throats, you'll stab multiple guards in a stylish process, or throw ninja shruikens at poor enemies. It's all fun, it's all entertaining, so go download the trial on Xbox LIVE Marketplace now.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon doesn't contain a multiplayer mode; and, to be honest, it didn't need one in the first place in Far Cry 3. Blood Dragon has its faults; for one thing, the environment is barren - to the point where it may lose people due to boredom. It's an open-world game; though, if there's nothing to do in the world - you may as well just make the map a linear one at most. The stealth segments aren't enjoyable and are, utterly, atrocious. Thankfully, you'll spend more time blowing the shit out of everything in sight - by the end of the game, you'll tie Michael Bay in caused explosions. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon doesn't last long - in fact, if you're only in it for the campaign, the game lasts around an hour to an hour and a half depending on your personal skill.

Though, that's about it for the 'bad' in the game. Also, don't let all of the above get to you. The game isn't terrible; it's, actually, quite fun. For fifteen dollars, you're definitely getting your money's worth. You're getting seven campaign missions, collectibles, achievements, free-roam (even after you've beaten the game), and, oh what the hell, colorful dragons. If you can withstand a short campaign, frustrating stealth sequences, and a barren map then you can handle Blood Dragon's enjoyable comedy, game-play and plot.

Overall, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is one hell of an entertaining, and hilarious, adventure. I'd recommend this to anyone who's played the original Far Cry 3, don't take video games seriously, or straight-up love games that don't take themselves seriously.
