If you own a Gamecube you need to own this game.

This and Mario Sunshine were the two main reasons I bought the Gamecube. While Mario Sunshine ended up being a huge disapointment, this game was almost everything I was hoping it would be. Simply put, this game is a blast to play. Your car goes at speeds of about 500mph and you can destroy your opponents car to help you win races. That alone makes this game stand out from any other. Gameplay - At first your car can be difficult to control but after about half an hour you will understand how to play without hitting the walls every minute. This is a problem for multiplayer though. Unless you play against people who are already good at the game they aren't going to be able to play any levels except for the first two. Graphics - The cars aren't anything special but the framerate is very high. It gives you a great sence of speed. Sound - Generic. Value - I spent a very long time with this game and enjoyed every second of it. Sometimes it can be frustrating but for the most part it is a lot of fun. Tilt - I'm not a huge racing fan but I've had more fun with this game than any other gamecube game (except maybe Resident Evil 4). If you own a gamecube then you need to get this game asap. You can find it for under $20 and it's worth every penny.
