Well, EA, you will be the only company to make NFL games for a long time. You screwed us out of $20 masterpieces!!!

User Rating: 9.6 | ESPN NFL 2005 PS2
I bought this game the day after it released. I just didn't write a review for it uptil now.
When I saw that ESPN released it's 2K5 game for just $20, I was amazed. But I wasn't stupid. I wasn't going let this opportunity away. When I first saw the price tag of $20 , I thought that this game might not be as good as Madden. But I was dead wrong.
The moment I put this game into my PS2 and started to play it, I saw Madden was nothing compared to this. The season mode was very deep, and I played it for hours together. The things you could do were cool. You can scout your opponent's team, and see who to matchup with whom. There are several training options, ranging from scrimmages to therapy for injured players. The graphics are beautiful. The first person mode is a nice little addition, and once you get used to it, it's somewhat fun. But back to the graphics. Madden's player's look like paper dolls when compared to the ESPN graphics. The injuries look real, as do the celebrations.
The soundtrack is not half bad, and you unlock new tunes in the Jukebox in the Crib.
My favorite part of the game was personalizing The Crib to my liking. By gaining points in matches, you can put motorcycles, team banners, quiz machines(which actually ask trivia)(different questions most of the tome) popcorn machines and home theaters to your Crib.
All this for just $20! EA, I hate you for stoppng our fun!
