Another 4X Micromanagement space fest, complete with cheating A.I how fun.
Games like Civilization series are notorious for cheating A.I, I'm talking about blatant cheating here, not just 'bonuses' to make the A.I more challenging and that's where Endless Fleet Spam fails, in some games depending on how good your start is/what bonuses you can quickly claim and highly depending on what starting bonuses/anomaly the A.I gets highly dictates the flow of the game, making it either 1) Extremely easy, or Impossible difficult no matter what original settings the played choose.
It is quite possible for the A.I to throw at the player almost constant attacking waves of ships, from even a small sized empire. The A.I also doesn't seem to be effected by approval ratings, which are a serious problem for the player - having to juggle your empires moral, to defense - is sometimes nearly impossible.
I initially had high hopes for Endless Space, but the poorly programmed A.I hurts the game too much, making the game extremely frustrating instead of fun.
