Dynasty Warriors 4 is very different from dw3 and dw5. I think this is the only unique dw game that koei has made. The weapons system is different, as you have to level them up now , and they added a duel system while skirmishing or campaigning. Dw4 also adds some more modes in the 1 on 1 duel and has some new characters that dw3 didn’t have. I personally don’t like the weapon leveling system, but koei’s formula for dw4 compensates for it. Also, there are some different techs you can use. If you are a dw fan and like the same old beating up formula, you should get this game.
