Even 6 years after it was released, this game still holds true to its quality and charm.

This is a game that many wrote off as simply a Pokemon clone. It is to a degree but it holds more in common stylistically with Monster Rancher as well as being considerably more difficult than the Pokemon Series. Starting off it may seem like Pokemon but once you incorporate the breeding system, it quickly becomes a much deeper game. It also features fierce looking monsters, something that the Pokemon series generally lacks. Graphically it is on par with Pokemon. Musically it has some issues, the score is somewhat repetitive and is generally less bouncy and bombastic that its competitors. It has nearly limitless replay value and a remarkably impressive level of staying power despite being released more than 6 years ago.
