This game is, as its name suggests, the 'ultimate' Dragon Ball Z game with breadth-taking visuals and a good gameplay to match. The QTE's and cinematic events make the game look beautiful. The QTE's stops other users in online mode from spamming and also makes the game more fun.
The game is true to its story starting from the saiyan saga to the GT saga and with some bonuses in between. It also introduces a 'Hero mode' in which you can create your own fighter and battle ridiculously powerful opponents to save the universe.
The newly introduced boss battles are extremely fun and difficult to win. You can fight giants from the original Dragon Ball Z series like Great Ape Vegeta, Janemba, Black Star Shenron and many more. These giants are as big as they were in the anime unlike the tenkaichi series.
In conclusion, this is a wonderful game and is true to its title.
