This game was better than I expected it to be. But that's because I had low expectations. Buy it when it's 30 dollars.

This game was on my games to buy list for a while. I had loved DOA # even though it had pretty much no replay value. I couldn't get a copy of the booster disk meaning there was only about 4 or 5 costumes i could unlock and yet i loved that game. Beach volleyball had all the cool girls from the DOA series(and a new one Lisa), and had nice scenery. the games graphiocs are still quite nice but its pretty vague. The courts are all pretty much alike. The characters faces look very detailed but the rest of their bodies make them look like barbie dolls. The game has some high points in graphics like the outstanding movie sequences. But what ruins them is they don't really make sense. Zack's CG sequences don't make any sense to me. Like his rocket sequence isn't worth commenting about.

The sound was fairly good. The songs were girly and ther was not mayn major sound effects besides the ball getting hit or a girl yelping. But for a sports game thats ok so i would have to exempt this. Ironically the gameplay was actually pretty fun. It was easy to pick up like topsin almost but in my opinion better. It's hilarious when you spke the ball at the oppsing team and it hits them in the head. that never gets tiring. The gameplay has some replay value as you get to unlock more swimsuits for the girls and some caasino games to play. And there's a camera mode for all those perverts to see the girls up close in there personal spots while they lie down at the beach. The game was rated M for this reason only as being able to zoom to a characters breasts increases the rating. Sure when you first see this zoom in mode your male hormones go sky rocketing staring closly zoomed in on the girls breasts but in the end II found these extras a little boring. Unlocking the swimsuits was a little a fun and i have to emphasize A LITTLE because it was quite boring after a while since no skill was involved.

If you want to see the DOA girls in bikinis this is the perfect place, but if its a story or major gameplay you want save your money.
