I just finished this game last March 2018. So, you play as Death with primary mission is to absolve War of his charges for crime he believe War did not commit. Gameplay: It's a semi-open world hack & slash game. I found it fun, cool, how he summon and banish Despair (his horse) and the concept of having a crow (named as Dust) as waypoint guide is cool. Combat is also cool, lots of diff. combos (but not exceeding 10) I think. How he ride his blazing horse while holding his awesome scythe is cool. Though I found his pistol nothing special. Puzzles, they are also cool and the concept. Took me a while solving some hard puzzles. Climbing to wooden posts, extending wallrun, climbing rooted walls, I find it very similar to Prince of Persia (2008) which I'm playing now. Plus both if them is connected to World Tree at black symbiote like Corruption. I find it like a little copycat, but I can disregard that. Graphics: I felt very sad why they didn't pursue with the best graphics for a 2012 game. Maybe they don't have the right tools? The designs are good, I really appreciate the external and interior designs. It just lacks details. Story: (ending spoiler) the main story is trying to find a way to absolve War and restore humanity. But as you reach the ending, you might think of "wtf is the purpose of the whole game?" Overall, great, but you can see the reason why it didn't top-up.
