I didn't know what to expect when I bought it, but I'm glad I did.

I played Chrono Trigger later than alot of people, I just hadn't heard of it when it came out, my rpg exp. was Earthbound and the Final Fantasy series for the most part on SNES, I went back and played Chrono Trigger a few years ago when it was rereleased on PSX with the anime cut scenes. It was great, it aged well, and I had alot of fun playing it, especially seeking out the different endings. So naturally when I saw Chrono Cross I thought about buying it immediately, I didn't know how well it would stack being a sequel though. As far as I'm concerned this doesn't deserve to be called a sequel, that's like saying it's just a continuation of Chrono Trigger, this is a completely different game, and it stands on its own. The music is brilliant, sound in general in this game is awesome. The visuals are awesome for when it came out, and you can tell that someone spent a great deal of time on them. The gameplay is interesting and mildly reflects the first game as far as the multiple character attacks/moves, I wasn't completely sold on the battle system but it works, so why try to fix what isn't broken right? Overall I had a great time playing this game, so if you get a chance go play!
