Castle Crashers has been 2-3 years in development... Was it worth the wait? Bottom line = YES!
Gameplay 8,5/10
When you see the game you'll probably think "Yeah, that's a typically Beat em' up game..." And yes it is, But it grows on you and you realize that you've just played the game in 20 hours. The game has 3 modes (all which include online)
Volleyball mode: It is just flat out boring, I mean I haven't seen such a boring mode in a long time, one of the cons is that i doesn't include something special inside it, you just hit the ball till someone misses (yes, just as i described it).
Arena mode: You fight in several sub-modes like digging and stuff it's up to 4-players. This mode is good but not great.
Castle Crashers: This is the mode where Castle Crashers shine! It's fun, yes it's fun. The story is meh but the challenge is great and rewarding. And now try and mix it with an insane mode! If you ever fare on that dangerous adventure you'll have my blessing. It is a mode that describes the phenomen HARD! This the mode that makes you **** in your pants when you beat it.
The place where it lacks is the variety. You have 28 heroes to choose from and they basically all have the same spells and stuff, the difference is the kind of spell they are using, like fire or gold (yes i know gold isn't a element).
Sound 10/10
The soundtrack in this game is brilliant, every tune fits the given stage and make happy because it's so well crafted, not much to say listen to it instead.
Story 7/10
4 princesses gets kidnapped by an evil wizard, that shares em' across the kingdom without any voice actors to the heroes. This is the kind of game where you make up your dialogues instead. The game has the weird 13-year old humor where everybody ***** in their pants. Though the campaign is short, it just still forces you to continue.

Why do i have to explain how this game plays when it's absolutely great.
Conclusion
The game is amazing and just inspires you to continue in every single way. But the campaign is to short and the gameplay lacks variety that's why i'm giving it a 8,5/10
