Dont Fall For The Hype!
We then move onto Spec-Ops which personally i found to be a lot more fun than the single player, the missions are varied and unlike the multiplayer actually require some sort of co-ordination to win. The downside is that you can only play with friends so can be sometimes hard to get a partner to play with.
Now onto the abysmal multiplayer... First of all it is extremely glitchy and server crashing/lag can sometimes be frequent. The original maps are boring and after playing online for a few hours becomes monotonous. The action is only based in a certain focal point in the map, getting to that area requires immense skill as weaving through the campers should give an acheivement in itself, once you finally reach the action you are bombarded with grenades and rockets or knifed from someone 3 meters behind you. You could purchase one of the extremely over priced map packs (1200 msp (£10-£15)) and admittedly the maps are a lot better than the originals, considering they are recycled cod4 maps it is expected, but camping is still a huge issue.
Overall this game is not worth the disk it is burned onto, if you are considering buying this "game" then i would recommend you buy Battlefield Bad Company 2 instead or wait for Medal Of Honor/COD: Black Ops.
