This is a great shooter. It just needs more depth.

Black is an incredible FPS. The graphics are amazing, and the controls are tight. Only a few other XBOX games have graphics of this caliber. I enjoy the way the mission system is set up. There are individual missions, much like 007 Golden Eye, instead of just one long campaign. This makes Black a great "pick-up and play" game.

The story is very dull. I loath the cut scenes before each level. Lucky you are only forced to watch them once. The other great flaw of this game is the complete absence of multi-player. if there had been a multi-player, this game would be almost perfect.

The action is high, the game looks amazing, and the production is superb. Black is one of the XBOX greats. The game is just a bit too shallow, and is in need of mult-player. Black is the best leisure shooter out there. This game is well worth the 1200 XBOX points.
