Binary Domain is a pleasant reduction of Mass Effect type squad based 3rd person shooter to pure action. After coming off a Skyrim binge, I was happy to enter to future and blow the living bejeezus out of 3 story spider robot bosses, robot police, and robot panthers. The graphics are great, the story is excellent. It really sucks you in. Its like a Philip K. Dick novel. Who is real and who isnt type of thing. Sega should beat their marketing department on this one. Releasing it between Skyrim and Mass Effect was suicide. The cover art on the box is just silly compared to the seriousness of the story. It looks like the cover for Tropic Thunder. If they had one or two adds on TV showing the game with some good music, they would have sold a lot of units. Just couldnt do Mass Effect after Skyrim. Needed to just blow alot of crap up without much thought about trying to lay someone. If you can get past first couple of scenes and some irritating early dialogue, youll like it.
