If you seen the movie now it's time to play the game.

User Rating: 6.2 | Batman Begins PS2
Batman Begins brings us another version of Batman. One of the toughest superheros to base games on. Many Batman games usually end up with a arcade-type feel to them. You know punch and run, leap and swing your way to the end. Batman Begins tries to give you a RPG almost like feel when playing this game.

Gameplay is from a third person perspective of you as Batman. You will have to learn stealth, some fighting techniques, and of course how and when to use your Bat weapons. The game progresses along the lines of the movie so you learn about your beginnings. Your main foe in the game is Ras Al Ghaul and to some extent the Scarecrow.

You will find that you have very little freedom in the game as you must progress along certain paths in order to complete certain levels. You will however will find that besides to your basic moves and weapons you can use the environment to your advantage. By having several options available to solve a level this allows you to decide how you want to play. You can play the whole game attempting to be stealthy or you can take a more direct approach and just charge headlong into battles and let your fists speak for you. In this game you will have to contest with something known as area fear. The higher the area fear level the easier it will be for you to takedown most enemies.

Graphics are decent. You are mostly fighting in buildings so not too much to look at during the gameplay. However when you get to the train scene the graphics start to look really decent.

Sound is also decent in this game as well.

Value of the game is worth buying if you like Batman. The game if rented can be solved in a weekend's worth of playing. Replay value is low as you will just start from the beginning and progress through the levels in the same manner.
