This game had potential....

User Rating: 7.9 | Asphalt: Urban GT DS
Okay, first off, this game is a little annoying. When you are racing and decide to use a boost, you are MOST likely to crash with so many twist's and turn's this game has. The game does look nice I would say that. It just, this game felt like it was rushed because it don't even have the alot of level or at least it does, it's just that most of the level seem...repetitive. After a good three hours or so, you may get tired of playing the same levels over and over again. But there is a heathly amount of cars here.

Graphic: 8.9
The graphics look nice on the ds. But it seem they could have done a better job with the graphics like having a little motion blur while using the nitrous. Yes this game also has nitro boost. This game actually moves at a very nice pace. There's not a hint of slowdown even when there's a lot of cars on the screen. The car model's themselves don't loo have that bad either.

Gameplay: 7.9
Okay this is where the game somewhat crashes and burn. It would seem the developers just slapped in the level that you race on. They don't seem well thought out because you are almost constantly turning, never really getting a chance to use your full car speed. Using your boost will take practice and skill. You must know the road, be the road in order to successfully use the potiental of the boost. Then there's the traffic. When you crash into these traffic car's, you will come to a complete stop. This can be frustrating when you are at the finish line, only to be stop by a traffic car, causing you to lose the race.

Sound: 7.0
Here is another problem. Almost all the car's seem like they sound alike. The hummer sounnd like a mini sport's car as do the rest of the cars. The music may sound amusing at first, but after a while, you may lose your mind to the music. Thank god they made a volume switch for the ds, or I'm may have broken my ds in frustration of this generic heavy metal music.

Value: 7.5
After you play this game once, you may decide to play the game twice. After the second time, you may never play it again. But with all the cars and all(probably around thirty cars, I did not count them), You may be upgrading all your cars say the can have every color and fully custom with the best engine equipment you can buy.

Final thought:
The game has potiential, but it comes a little short. You better off getting mario kart so you can use the wi fi. But if you want a game with almost endless customization and a blazing speed game for the ds, this is the game to get.
