As GameSpot News previously reported, Konami will release a limited box set for Z.O.E. in Japan. Titled Z.O.E. Premium Package, the box set will include the game software (without the Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty playable demo disc), the DVD-ROM of the Z.O.E. original anime featuring exclusive footage, a special packaged CD maxi-single of the Z.O.E. opening theme song, and a Z.O.E. video game/anime book featuring more than 150 pages.

GameSpot first reported on the Z.O.E. anime several weeks ago. It will be titled Z.O.E. 2167 IDOLO, and its story will take place before the events that transpire in the game. The anime was produced by Sunrise, the team responsible for such anime titles as Gundam Wing. The DVD release of the anime is scheduled for March 1, and it will be priced at 5,800 yen. The maxi-single for the Z.O.E. opening theme song can be purchased separately, and it's scheduled for a March 8 release in Japan with a retail price of 1,200 yen.
