Microsoft announced that it plans to release the Xbox One in Asia and other regions later next year.

Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and other Asian regions were not on the list of 21 markets the Xbox One will be available in this November. Microsoft also did not announce the price of the Xbox One in Asia.

The Xbox One will be available in the following regions: United States, France, Netherlands, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Mexico, Spain, Russia, Brazil, Italy, Sweden, Australia, Ireland, Norway, New Zealand, Belgium, Finland, United Kingdom, Austria, and Denmark. i don't understand about the tv features on X1 , from what i've seen on x1 reveal the tv channel that being shown are from the USA , so if MS release X1 in the asia . the tv features will be useless

@JDWolfie South Korea, Hong Kong, and Japan has the 3 fastest internet n the world. As for where I live in Asia yeah our Internet sucks we pay $40 for upto 2 mbps (normally its like 300 KBPS) but still enough to authenticate games I would think. Still most people in my country don't have internet ... even the folks I work with in the IT Industry do not have internet at home.

The thing is that sales are quite less but If you combine all Asia(except Japan) they become a significant number

Asia conntries don't care about XBox One or any game console over $350. They only care about handheld game systems anyways. This is no big deal really. It will release in Asia market in 2014.

@blackace I live in Asia and Asian ... I have a PS3, Xbox 360 (2 sine the first RROD), and The Wii. I have many friends that have either an Xbox 360 or PS3 though more PS3's by a ratio of like 1 is to 10. So um no.

Well doesn't matter. Here in India, we have huge power outage's during the summer(once had a 14 hour outage) and the speeds are SLOW. So not buying an XBone anyways.
