Wii U 'probably' arriving in November - Toki Tori 2 dev

It better come before December, otherwise there will be a lot of disappointed gamers who did get console in time. There better be no shortage of consoles too. Nintendo should not want to repeat Wii story again when not enough demands were satisfied

So this article says that a developer makes a prediction that already matches the assumption that everyone is already making about the Wii U's launch date. Why is this news?

they should wait until April 22nd(Earth Day), so people can recycle this paper weight, once they see no value in it XD

It is the usual release window for new consoles. You want people to write about how well your console sold, the best way to do that it to release in the holiday period when people have the money and are in the right ''spirit''.

We can also be sure that Nintendo will try to launch this year, one more year and the new Xbox and PS are announced and its specs might make people decide to wait a little longer. So put those two together and you can make an educated guess.

The sad thing is, most analysts can't be bothered to do even that. They'd much rather cry out nonsense as that draws more attention to them.

I think I'll just ignore this article about when the launch is, along with the other hundred articles, and just wait for Nintendo to tell us.

I think November would be the sweet spot. Making it in the right time to the lists of possible christmass presents.

November 21 2012 was one of the releases dates. They should make it exactly 6 years to the day.

Good idea to release it in November instead of December, gives kids time to bug their parents in getting them one for christmas.
