Watch Teaser for Star Fox's New Animated Short
The Battle Begins will premiere this Wednesday.
To mark the launch of Star Fox Zero this week, Nintendo will debut a new Star Fox animated short titled The Battle Begins. While you'll have to wait until April 20 to see the full thing, Nintendo released a clip from the video on Twitter, which you can see below. The video teases out some of the story and shows off characters such as Fox, Slippy, Falco, and Peppy, among others.

The Battle Begins will be streamed live on Wednesday, April 20, at 3 PM PST through Nintendo's website. The video was produced by Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto, alongside Japanese anime and media companies Production I.G. and WIT Studio.
Immediately after the animated short finishes, Nintendo will host a new Treehouse: Live event focused on Star Fox Zero and the standalone game Star Fox Guard, which stars Slippy's uncle, Grippy.
