Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed IV preorders "very strong" says Ubisoft

@RE4WiiGirl Some reasons to hate Ubisoft, that I've picked up and don't necessarily agree with: Uplay - bad/unnecessary, yet another third-party program needed to play a game. AC - bad, annualizing it like CoD and therefore making it as dull and same-old-same-old as CoD.

Then there are the various stupid statements that Ubisoft has made. Practically all PC gamers are pirates along with other mistrustful things. AAA game development being too expensive to not integrate microtransactions. If they don't make this unholy alliance, it won't be financially viable any longer to make AAA games. Still, the public wants AAA games, so you can't blame Ubisoft for thinking of doing this. Oh, yes you can blame Ubisoft, it's their fault if they can't make games without exceeding their budget. Look at other AAA games from smaller devs, like Metro: Last Light and Witcher 3.

@vivalatour Not as strong as the hate against Ubisoft, though, but it's practically impossible for anything to be stronger than the accumulated Ubisoft hate of the internet people. Adamantium, Superman - all will crumble before the awesome might of HATE!!!!

@DrJill2010 Really? I thought the first AC got boring and pretty frustrating at times. I really think AC2 was far better and they'd learned from the mistakes they made in the first one. After AC2 though, I think they've lost their way a little (or a lot) with the rest of the AC titles.

But each to their own and, yes, Watch Dogs looks like it's going to be heaps of fun.

@Alucard_Prime The first glimpse in the first video from E3 2012 was so amazing, many of us were hooked instantly. It's so different to anything out at the moment, and I thought it was a very interesting and exciting concept for a game. Since then I have followed it so closely I have watched every new video released for over a year now. Looking forward to picking it up in a special bundle preorder :)

@Alucard_Prime Hacking npc or seeing a dynamic "reaction" from the city hasn't been done before I don't think.

@Alucard_Prime It appears to be different from assassin creed and it looks cool. I was hype for this game but as time has pasted I feel like this game will be decent and will be worth picking up during Black Friday(like most of Ubisoft games). I have been burnt by Ubisoft before(paying full price for Assassin Creed 1 and 3,Far Cry 3) and it will not happen again

@NotCeo "And you can't be $40" Ummm, I don't want to be $40. I think I'm worth quite a bit more than that, but it's irrelevant really to put a price on yourself.

As for the games' price, I'll wait until it's 10 dollars, but considering my backlog, it'll be 5 dollars on a Steam sale before I get to it. For launch day it's a good deal, though.

@NotCeo I have personally never picked up an AC game, I hd always found the series interesting but Black Flag really caught my attention this year. Something about the setting and exploring the sea and nearby islands, i'm very excited to pick this one up!

@Kickable This isn't an attack directed at you, but at most people. The fault is thinking that a game *should* be a certain score. It's not like different people think differently about the same game and wouldn't give it the same score. It's not like giving a score is the best way to measure a game's worth. It's everything about the game that defines the games worth and a score is a very crude measurement.

@Kr3isen I expect it to be Assassins Creed: Future.... It looks like it moves just like Creed, and wouldnt be surprised if at the end, you find out you are in an Animus...
