Watch 28 Minutes Of Skyrim On PlayStation VR

Skyrim comes to VR very soon.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim comes to PlayStation VR on November 17. Ahead of that, we got to try out the game and head to Tamriel in a way we never have before. Check out the video embedded above to see a whopping 28 minutes of footage.

In the video, Bethesda explains Skyrim VR to us as GameSpot's Nick Margherita plays the game. It uses the PS VR headset and PlayStation Move controllers. One cool thing is that you can twist your hand around and see all sides of whatever weapon you have equipped. You'll also get a peek at the Minority Report-like menus.

Now Playing: 28 Minutes of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR - Gameplay

Skyrim for PlayStation VR was announced at E3 this year. PS VR is not the only new platform that Skyrim is coming to, as a Nintendo Switch edition is also due out this month.

In other news about Bethesda VR games, you can watch 10 minutes of Doom VFR Edition right here. That game launches on December 1 for PS VR and HTC Vive.

VR is the war forward. It's been promissed for over 20 years and finaly a playable version is here. Good to see Sony at the forefront pushing whats possible.

Rather then how other companies just do cheap low quality copy n paste jobs. Some innovate others cheapen!!!

Yeah... I don't wanna hold my arms out in front of me for hours at a time. Please tell me there's an option to just play normally with controller but have free head movement. No sale otherwise.

@mattcake: Just because the guy in the video is holding his hands out in front of him constantly doesn't mean you have to. You can just simply hold them naturally at your sides until you need to pull up your shield or swing the sword.

I think it's about time for a new elder scroll single player. Pretty sick of hearing about the game.

While I love the idea of Skyrim in VR, I hate the idea of running into the Draugr in it with the headset on.

@j1965: Its definitely amazing being put into Skyrim. Im already stunned by the graphics on the monitor, but to be put into the world is different.

I dont think I could play as a stealthie with the VR setup. It would hurt my legs to crouch hahaha
