Developer Tribute Games and publisher Dotemu have revealed that TMNT: Shredder's Revenge will get a new free DLC update later this year. It's called Dimension Shellshock and will be available on all platforms.

Usagi Yojimbo, the samurai rabbit, is being added as a new character and is an ally to the Turtles throughout the TMNT universe. There will also be new music included with the upcoming DLC from composer Tee Lopes, as well as alternative color schemes for playable characters. A new game mode is coming to the DLC as well, but more details on that will be revealed later.

A future update will add even more color palette options to the game that are separate from the Dimension Shellshock DLC. The game was nominated at the 2022 DICE Awards for Outstanding Achievement for an Independent Game.

TMNT: Shredders Revenge was first released on June 16, 2022, for PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and mobile. In GameSpot's TMNT: Shredder's Revenge review, we said, "Rehashing a classic retro game is always a tough ask, but Shredder's Revenge avoids the obvious pitfalls and successfully brings about a revival of everyone's favorite mutant turtles."

Did not expect this, great news!

I wonder if the online mode works now, for me it was just constant chopping, super laggy, we're talking slow slow slow motion, like it's unplayable.
