Thousands Of Steam Games Discounted In Massive Sale

Fanatical's May Madness sale has kicked off with deals on games from popular developers, including Capcom, Square Enix, and Bethesda.

Fanatical has kicked off one of its biggest annual sales: May Madness. For the next two weeks, you can save on more than 2,000 PC games, most of which are Steam keys. Titles from Capcom, Square Enix, Bethesda, and many more developers are featured in the May Madness sale. You can even save on recently released games like Resident Evil Village and upcoming titles such as Mass Effect: Legendary Edition.

Resident Evil Village's standard edition is on sale for $50, while the Deluxe edition is $59.59. Older titles in Capcom's survival horror series are also on sale for cheap. The remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 are discounted to $14.39 and $18, respectively. Resident Evil 7 is slashed to $9, and fan-favorite Resident Evil 4 is only $4.59.

A pair of upcoming releases are also discounted in the sale. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, which releases this Friday, is down to $52.79. The Deluxe edition of Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster is $57.39 ahead of its launch later this month.

Though Resident Evil deals lead the way for Capcom in the May Madness sale, we also want to call out Monster Hunter World: Iceborne's Master Edition. It contains the base game and the massive Iceborne expansion and is discounted to only $31.78.

A bunch of Tomb Raider games are on sale for low prices, including the reboot trilogy. Tomb Raider's Game of the Year edition is down to $5.69, Rise of the Tomb Raider's 20 Year Celebration edition is $5, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider is $13.79. That means you can grab all three plus every piece of DLC for less than 25 bucks.

Other notable deals include Doom for $10, Doom Eternal for $19.79, and Destiny 2's Legendary Edition for only $23.09. The Legendary Edition comes with the most recent Destiny 2 expansion, Beyond Light, as well as Shadowkeep and Forsaken.

We've rounded up some of the highlights from Fanatical's May Madness sale below. Make sure to check back next week for the second wave of deals.

Why is Mass Effect LE being discounted before it's even been released? It must not be selling very well in pre-orders.

@Dilandau88: Because its a remaster, not a new game.

@Dilandau88: that's pretty normal actually. Plus it's a game that came out years ago already

The copy of Mass Effect LE isn't a Steam version, it's an Origin version.

@zerojuice: All PC versions of MELE are the Origin version as all (legal)versions of MELE require Origin to run it.
