the best awesome scam i have ever seen.

I just regret one thing, earning as money as hammerpoint and sergey titov had earned whithout any work needed, nobody know where the money entrance were invested, certainly not in developpement... so... we had to say they are genius of our modern's time, probably heroes ! Ave titov.... First of your game i bought, last i bought too. And i could be really thankful, if you 'll never make one again, not in this life, and not in others. Thank you :)

Proof positive that metacritic is by no means always reliable. All I can say is think for yourself. For me, it's the best 15 bucks I ever spent, hands down. Playing with a huge clan and no one can touch us. Hacker problem is being addressed and is better in general. Skill trees are in now. 100 man servers. Regular updates. It's only getting better. Don't believe the smear campaign is all I can say, I fucking love this game. I play literally every day and so does everyone in my clan.

Pretty sad that a bunch of people who never played the game or barely played just sit on the internet and cry and whine about it like little pansies.

They should never allow unfinished games to be released, not on Steam or anywhere else. Paying customers are already used as beta-testers for some time, however with this title they went too far.

Jeez. Seriously, Valve? After everything, you're still allowing people to buy this... thing from you? Didn't you pull it out to protect your customers and users in the first place? Sigh, I still like you, Steam, but you just lost a lot of respect points from us.

Steam probably allowed it back on because they were tired of giving refunds :P

With that bad start ahead? At least I hope they had the integrity to really finish something close to what they promised.

Check TotalBiscuit about this. He is right - there are two camps of people. One hates the game and the other loves it because they bought it and think it is impossible for them to buy bad game. I mean I fully understand, you have to defend that your money were well spent :)

I played with my friend for awhile and we had a good time trying to survive.
Fun to play with your friends. The game is pretty hard over all.
But it's worth the $15 I spent on it. Got some good play time in.

Not a chance in hell i'd be caught buying this. Might just grab DayZ instead.

Now all that's left to do is get Uwe Boll to make a movie adaptation. Then... it will be a complete experience.

i would really like to know where in the world Hammerpoint pulled that screenshot out of because 1. the game in that screen looks like a game worth playing and 2. they are holding two things at one time and thats just freaking awesome.

seriously dont buy this "game" it looks interresting but an interresting concept with no customer services and a lack for improvement is no game to buy.

Aside from general bugs and quirks, the only thing I consider categorically wrong with the game is that other users can steal gear that you paid *real* money for. When that changes, I may take this more seriously.

With such a classy handling of that debacle in December I could never bring myself to buy from that studio again, at least not for a long time. I suggest voting with your wallet, I boycotted Ubisoft's DRM, boycotting EA for general asshat-ery, As well as anyone associated with this....thing... Please, vote with your wallet people! This type of business can't be allowed!

I was luck enough to look for feedback before purchasing it so I escaped the ambush....but Hammerpoint lost the little trust they had from me (after all they are the same guys that did Big Rigs, remember?) and won't get it any time soon.

Particularly not with the same crap game with a few twists.

Still not buying it and I hope others don't either. This trash doesn't deserve to make money.

with a private server and a good community its actually alot of fun. 8/10 would be a 9/10 with more features and tools for the community to use.

What a good joke from Valve, and to think people actually bought this game. Hammerpoint should die quickly.

I purchased this game before it was released all the way back in Oct. played in the Alpha, which not surprising, played like an Alpha build. For 2 weeks the devs then claimed it was in Beta after absolutely no changes being made to the game and then finally the;y officially released the "Foundation Release" in mid Dec.

Nothing had changed since alpha besides very small updates! None of the features that were promised, terrible bugs, horrible optimization, and rampant hacking problems.

I filed a chargeback claim with my bank the day of the "foundation release" under fraud and after 24hrs of their own research to verify my claim they completely reimbursed me without question. My bank looked into Hammerpoint and The War Z and found after one work day that they were defrauding buyers with outright lies and general deception.

If you bought this game and think it is too late to get your money back, it's not, there are still option available to you! Even after 4+ months you should still be able to take back the money that Hammerpoint conned you out of.

My respect for Valve went from 999/999 to 998.999/999.
