The Outsider announced for next-gen

Political thriller set in capital city likely coming to PS3, Xbox 360 from British developer Frontier.

The names of several next-generation games have hit the presses recently, thanks in large part to this weekend's Tokyo Game Show. However, halfway around the world, publisher Frontier Developments let it be known that it too is working on a next-generation game. Known more for family-oriented games like A Dog's Life and the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, the developer is embarking on a new path with The Outsider, a thriller set in a boiling political atmosphere.

In the game, players get wrapped up in a web of deception, corruption, and mistaken identity as a CIA operative wrongly accused of a crime he didn't commit. Frontier aims to make The Outsider a game of choice--gamers can choose several ways to respond to their predicament. They can passively try to clear their name, grab some guns and exact some lead-filled revenge, or something in between.

The setting of The Outsider is a city based on Washington, D.C., with several sites based on some of the city's more popular landmarks, such as the CIA headquarters and Andrews Air Force Base.

Frontier has not definitively stated which platforms the game will appear on. However, since the release mentions the game's radical new gameplay will be made possible by the processing powers of "new consoles including the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360," it will likely appear on those two systems.

Am I the only one who thinks the dude on the right looks like Taylor Hicks (the winner of American Idol last year)?

From what I've read the storyline could be different 5 times over. I've taken a look at the pics and the graphics are great.
