Suncom Announces New Throttle and Gamepad
The new Strike Fighter Series throttle should be out next month.
Suncom Technologies has announced the debut of its newest flight simulation computer peripheral - the new Strike Fighter Series Throttle. At an MSRP of US$130, the Strike Fighter Series Throttle features split throttle halves, simulating the inboard and outboard engines of an aircraft, and are generously covered with two- and four-way hat switches, a few buttons, and a rotary dial. Each of the switches and buttons can be programmed on the fly, without using macros or software download.
The Strike Fighter Series Throttle will be available in limited supply on February 14 and should be widely available some time after that.
Also on Suncom's menu is the new SFX Plus gamepad, an improved version of its SFX gamepad that includes the same key-programming technology of the Strike Fighter Series Throttle. The SFX Plus features 24 programmable buttons and will sell for around US$60.
