Strategy Signs with Virgin

Strategy First Inc. has signed an affiliated label agreement with Virgin Interactive. As part of the deal, Virgin will release Strategy First's Man of War in North and South America, as well as two other titles.

Man of War is a game of high seas battles, set in the era between 1765 and 1815 and includes large scale fleet actions of up to 150 ships in 12 different kinds of weather.

Strategy First, which used to be affiliated with Empire, will be able to use Virgin's strength and size to get its games into the market. "We couldn't be happier," said a representative of the company. He said that the two other games include Man of War II and another that hasn't yet been defined. Man of War is due the first week of August.
