Infamous: First Light, the standalone downloadable content announced at E3 2014, will be available on PlayStation 4 starting August 26 in North America, developer Sucker Punch has announced. It launches the next day, August 27, in Europe. Pricing has not been officially announced, but you can preorder the DLC for $15 on the PlayStation Store.
Announced during Sony's E3 2014 press conference earlier this month, Infamous: First Light has you playing as Abigail "Fetch" Walker, a character from Infamous: Second Son who has neon-based powers. The expansion will tell her story, which includes heartache, drug abuse, and abandonment.
In First Light, you'll also get to explore new environments, including Curdun Cay and the snowy mountain passes surrounding it. Prolific voice actor Laura Bailey returns to play Fetch in the expansion.
As it's a standalone expansion (like Infamous 2's Festival of Blood DLC), you don't need to own a copy of Infamous: Second Son to play First Light. But if you do own the main game, you'll received various in-game bonuses, Sucker Punch says.
