If people can wait this long for an awsome game, waiting a bit longer won't hurt and the game will be better if given this time.

That's a bit of a bummer, but there's no point releasing an incomplete game. I just hope its worth the wait.

The Delay is good. That means they have more time to add better characters and features to make the game of the chain. I can wait because ssbm comes out on my BIRTHDAY so i have no problem

Waiting is not a problem only if the game is going to be good. 1. Imagine, people start believing that SSBB is going to be the best game on the wii and bla bla bla, people expect to much from this game and when it will come out, it will be less good than expected. SSBB is going to be the same thing as other SSB games but nicer and complex, final! I stopped going to the web site of dojo because I want to be suprised with the new things when it ships. I am glad to hear that Sonic is a playable character but they shouldn't tell.

People really love to complain about stuff, it makes me smile. And for whoever said the whole "I'm not buying this game because it got delayed in Europe" crap, you're an idiot. For one, they have to translate the game into several different languages for our friends across the pond, and for a game like Super Paper Mario (which is text heavy), it's going to take them a while to translate it and retain the original translation (which as we know from Paper Mario games, are a huge part of the overall experience). Secondly, not buying the game is going to make Nintendo (or any other developer) believe there is no market for this particular game in Europe. Kids today are way too impatient. If they can't have it now it's the end of the friggin' world. It'll be here before you know it, and then you'll complain about something else. Not that I'm any better, I'm complaining about people complaining... *universe implodes*

I knew they'd never get this game out in December but still was hoping to be proved wrong... Oh well, they can't keep holding back on this one for too much longer.. February will be here soon...

If Nintendo didn't delay their games... it wouldn't be worth playing! Get over it. Nintendo always delay, to make the game the very best it can be.......unlike other developers. Why complain over something you ALL know is true?

I don't think I can wait much longer, since i was a wee infant, I've wanted to pit Mario and Sonic in a ring and let them duke it out, and now I've got to wait three more months! That said this looks like Super Smash Brothers at its best, even Snake has joined the ranks, glad nintendo aint doing a rush job on this, I have high hopes

They way I see it this was a lose-lose situation for nintendo. 1. they release the game in December as planned to mediocre reviews and lackluster online multiplayer but hey they will sell millions anyway, blah blah blah, or 2. they delay the game to give them more time to polish it off and give it the finishing touches and get rave reviews and sell millions but more people will like it. By not releasing it before christmas it shows us the commitment that the company has towards the gamer, they don't want to just cash in on the holiday season they want to make sure that one of their larger IP's is done better. Obviously not all their IP's get treated with the same attention as others as we've seen with some of their latest games for Wii like Pokemon. If they took the same care with that game as they did with SSBB or even the DS games we would have a much better Wii game this is just one example. Hey if they would have delayed Metroid again they could have polished the game a bit more but no that would have ticked off the fans too much so they went and realeased it... Of coarse there is the 3rd option: They delay the game and it ends up still getting mediocre reviews but just imagine what the rating would have been if they didn't take those extra 2 months???. Either way someone ends up ticked off

When did multiplayer online become essential in this market? Its not for games inspired for the single player campaign. Secondly, I'm glad you didn't buy Super Paper Mario. Gaming is predominant in Japan and North America, if the PAL gets shafted oh well, it happens. At least you're still getting the game. But you showed them not buying the game. Now no one will buy Paper Mario... I guess I'll be the only one enjoying this great game.

I'll buy this game as long as it gets here (PAL territories) on time. I didn't buy Paper Mario because we got the game 6 months late. Screw them - they're not getting my money for that kind of service. I'm content playing my Halo 3 which released on day one, thank you very much.

"...i think metroid is pointless" Metroid is a good game, and i'm sure using the wii remote only made it sweeter. BUT COME ON...no online multiplayer = ZERO replay value. Yes, Nintendo put most of their R&D into the wiimote, fine. Unfortunately you are only "wowed" the day you get it; after that it's pretty much like any console. So then the question is, how are you going to compete in a market where online gaming is essential? I was hoping SSBB was going to be that answer, IN DECEMBER... ...so, so bitter

Aint nothin im interested in for wii except that and Zelda. im not into the mario games, i think metroid is pointless when I play halo tres and there is nothing else I have found that looks at all interesting.

Features is one thing, variety of characters is another and as far as what i'm seeing from the dojo...sadly i'm discouraged... I want mass characters; don't disappoint me Big N. Also, what a GREAT idea by Nintendo execs: "Let's introduce a virtual console so that when we CAN'T deliver next-gen games on time, we can have a back up...la la la" Don't get me wrong, i'm all for VC, but not for their prices. I mean, they already made their money 15 years back when I bought their games. GIMME A BREAK and gimme my games on time and that'll shut me up. Dammit I'm bitter...

What did I say? What did I say? Why do nobody ever believe me. I said there is no way in hell that all three of those games would launch in the same holiday season. I figured MP3 would come out since that was supposed to be a launch game, and the same for Galaxy, but there was no way in hell SSBB would be hitting shelves this holiday with such little info and such a small amount of press and hype. But hey, don't try to tell a Wii fanboy he's wrong, or he'll pull out some bull **** sales figures and all other sorts of crap.

Bah. This was my most anticipated Wii game for this Christmas.

i never realized this until i saw the release date in the gamespot banner. i was a little disappointed, as this was one of the most anticipated games of 07. at least the november game lineup still looks great.

atleast its not like 6 month delay.Just 3.Twilite princess had like 2 6 month delays Atleast we will get more stuff.On feburary 11th we will all be very satisfied!

Delays are good, you get more content. 3 months worth of new content sounds pretty damn good to me

Twice as many as last year still isn't that many systems. Too bad the game was pushed. That'll have a lot of angry Wii owners.
