Shenmue Director Leaves AM2

Keiji Okayasu leaves the AM2 development team.

Keiji Okayasu, director of Shenmue and executive producer of Rent-a-Hero, has left his position at CRI's AM2 development team. According to his latest entry on the Rent-a-Hero web site Okayasu is inclined to work on projects that give him more creative freedom and he felt that AM2 did not provide that type of environment. He did however note that he would like to work with specific members of the Rent-a-Hero development team sometime in the future.

The development on the second installment of Shenmue will continue as planned.
