SEGA's The Typing of the Dead: Overkill has received a chunk of DLC that replaces the default dictionary with the lexicon of Renaissance playwright William Shakespeare.

The Shakespeare of the Dead DLC costs $2.99/£1.99, and swaps out its phrases to those that feature in Shakespeare's collected works.

The DLC arrives alongside a free update which introduces a two-player co-op mode and additional minigames.

The Typing of the Dead: Overkill was released for PC in October and is a typing-based spin on lightgun shooter The House of the Dead: Overkill, which is contained as a bonus mode within the new game.

A small developer with no budget, time or marketing managed to turn a port into a profitable success on the PC now with great DLC. SEGA could learn a lot from that team. (I think they shuttered the studio... /facepalm)

Maybe SEGA could get off their ass and hire a cheap localization team for the Yakuza series.

<< LINK REMOVED >> The studio actually closed during development - the game was finished by the staff working in their own time, and they've reformed for the free patches and this DLC. Really great team, I hope they have a lot of success in future.

The game is fun enough for sure especially if you appreciate what it will do for you typing skills but i think they have some balls charging for a dictionary update especially when this is like the second time this game is being re re released and its not like theres a whole lot of content there to begin with they should at least throw a few of those in for free.
