Revolution to under-Go name change?

I don't think 'Go' is a good name but if they keep it as 'Revolution', in a couple of years time, it wont seem much of a Revolution, it could become really outdated. It's a bit like if it would be called 'Nintendo New', in 10 years time, that would be a really stupid name for it.

But the first thing that came to my head was a new hand-held. But in a way that would kinda be stupid with the Nintendo DS that will be able to connect to it. But I also thought that with the Revolution they were sticking with Nintendo WiFi for the online service. To be honest I'm confused. Either way, I think they should stick with Nintendo Revolution as the actual product name, although its only codenamed that at the moment. EDIT: UNLESS!! its some sort of download service that puts a game from the revolution onto your DS, like with the GCN and the GBA with games like Phantasy Star online, or Billy Hatcher. You know like "Download the game and "Go"".... I dont know...

Isn't it just a rumor? And I agree with someone here who said it was like the online service. The Revolution has a logo on the Console. Nope. Not gonna change or it will be bad...

I don't think that nintendo will change the name 'revolution' into 'go', i mean, people are "friendly" to the name revolution, if they change the name, it wont be just stupid, it will also be wreid. But in the other hand its an easy name, so mature people will like it and they will remember it easly... *-*

Xenon was a better name than 360, and Revolution is too fitting to change it's name to something dumb like "GO."

Ichi, Ni, San, Shi, Go, Roku, Shichi, Hachi, Kyu, Ju 1 to 10 in Japanese (Correct me if i messed up the spellings).... so yeh, could just mean Nintendo 5

It sounds like some kind of Nintendo Tour, but of course, with another name :P But as a console name...? C'mon. Besides, if the 'Go' is the Romaji of 5, then the console would be known as 'Nintendo Five' or something like it in this place of the planet [Like Famicom/Nes].

This article lacks a body.... and it has typo's... c'mon gamespot. I suppose if "Go" means 5, it makes a bit of sence, but it still isn't a very effective name. Revolution sounds much better. Although that may just be because I've gotten utterly used to the name Rev.

I have read somewhere else that "GO" is Japan-talk for the number 5, as in Nintendo's 5th console.
