PSP Go price slashed Down Under

JB Hi-Fi stores across Australia have been offering the bundle mentioned in this article since April 2010 for AU $299 so its only a AU$50 price drop not AU$200.

@panicbroadcast yeah very true, they should have some sort of UMD barcode verification so people who have always supported the PSP can upgrade to the PSP Go and still have the old UMD games they have purchased, otherwise whats the point of buying one for the original PSP supporters who brought it from the beginning and have lots of UMD Games and Movies. Think about it Sony, it makes sense.

The only problem I have with PSP Go is that... what do I do with all my UMD games? There isn't a feature that lets me download them for free when I move to the PSP Go by verifying that I already own them (like some sort of code or something). So eh.

ok, i have a PSP-2000, but with only a few decent games.. paying only that price, with 10 games is a huge bargain, so im considering the upgrade seriously.. well done sony, this was a good move

I'b buy one... If there were actually games available for it! An owner of every "traditional" PSP (PlayStation Portable) to date, I was GOING to upgrade my current device, buy the wife AND son a PSP Go for christmas... Until I discovered that a LLOONNGG list of games is not available for the PSP Go! Despite promises that "all new games will be available for the PSP Go", most games are still released on UMD (universal media disk) only, including many "key" games (such as Kingdom Hearts)! Great price, but completely pointless if you cannot purchase the latest games...
