PS5 SSD Lightning Deal At Amazon: Snag A 1TB Drive For $60 Or 2TB For $110 While Supplies Last
This is one of the best deals we've seen on a PS5-compatible NVMe SSD this year.
PS5 users who are running out of space on their SSD can pick up a pretty awesome Lightning Deal at Amazon right now. Gammix's highly rated XPG S70 Blade NVMe SSD is available in its 1TB capacity for only $60 (was $90). If you want to future-proof your PS5 against increasing Call of Duty install sizes, you can snag the 2TB model for only $110 (was $210). Though overkill for most, the 4TB edition is up for grabs for $224 (was $299). XPG also has an 8TB SSD, but it'll set you back $760. You are saving $140 with this limited-time deal, but yeah, it costs more than the PS5 Pro.

The 1TB and 2TB deals are quite good, though. These are available for lower prices than we saw during Prime Big Deal Days.

$60 for 1TB | $110 for 2TB | $224 for 4TB
This is an enticing deal and is one of the cheapest options we've seen for more than doubling your PS5 storage in 2024. The S70 Blade boasts up to 7,4800 MB/s read speed on PC and 6,300 MB/s on PS5. To use it for PS5, you'll need to connect it to a heatsink, which doesn't come with this particular SSD--but you can grab one for $6.
It has been fully tested to run on the console, and it’s even backed by a five-year limited warranty. And with big games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Dragon Age: The Veilguard around the corner, now is a great time to expand your storage capabilities without breaking the bank.

Unlike upgrading the Xbox Series X SSD, which simply involves plugging in an expansion card into the slot on the back of the console--you can get Western Digital's official Xbox expansion card for $150 (1TB) or $80 (512GB) at Amazon--the PS5 upgrade process requires you to pop off the PS5's cover and remove a screw before gaining access to the open M.2 slot.
If you'd rather go with a better-known brand, Amazon has deals on multiple Western Digital PS5 SSDs that come with heatsinks preinstalled. You can get the WD Black SN850X 1TB for $97.
