Unexpected but definitely welcome collection. No longer have to care about 2048 not having PSTV support.

I miss the Wipeout games so I am looking forward to this. This year might end up being one of PlayStation's best years ever.

@sakaixx: For another HD remake?..... While I will likely be getting this, I do wonder why there wasnt just another proper Wipeout or Kinetica.

@zekere: I would agree as I thought HD and Fury were at least an 8.5 (they were still doing fraction scores at the time). Still, they're not a patch on the first three Wipeout games...

I am really looking forward to this. I love Wipeout, but I only got to play Wipeout64, and Wipeout XL, then some of the ps2 wipeout (which I didn't like as much).

I always wanted to try the ones that came out on PS3.. But never got to. Now I get a chance to play both, enchanced, and with the addition of 2048. I just pre-ordered this on Amazon for my PS4 pro, with my pre-order prime discount.

@louixiii: Ehh maybe 8/10 that's not bad either. They should have done Wipe out 3 that's my favorite and I even like the one they did for Nintendo 64

@domiddian: The PS3 game ran at 60fps, Native 1080p, but with dynamic horizontal resolution (varies between 1920x1080 and 1280x1080) according to digital foundry.

Very excited and happy to see it's 40 dollars and not 60. Day one purchase for that reason alone

@mikeskullx14: still pretty expensive for a 10 year old game.

I would get it when it gets to 15 or less (if I had a PS4).

@LeoKRock: Its 3 games in one, and only 1 generation old. Come on...

They are even enhanced. Clocking in at about $13.33 each.

@Lach0121: Fury is an add-on and 2048 is the vita port.

It´s like saying that Super Street Fighter IV + Arcade Edition + 3DS edition is 3 different games...

It´s one game, and I would gladly buy it for 13.33 :D

25 max would be a fair price IMHO (I would still wait for a sale)

@LeoKRock: Even your own words make it 2+ games.

Enhanced

Vita port = 1

HD/Fury = 1+

If you don't want to pay its current price, which is a reasonable price, then wait.

Moving along.

But I guess you´re right, Wipeout is a great game, and I´m glad they´re bringing it back for a price that people are willing to pay.

@barcaazul: a lot of the OST's for antigrav racers were cool......hell may games from that era, gen 5 and gen 6 had awesome OST's......

remember N²O?? the OST for that was The Crystal Method who basically created a more instrumental version of their first album......

F-Zero always had good OST's too.....and XBOX's Quantumn Redshift had an awesome OST.....

IDK, I'm more inclined to say most of gaming has excellent soundtracks.....be em techno, rock, metal, orchestral etc it's all good and there's at least 1 for everyone at this stage lolz

@Lach0121: extreme g was a cool game, 2 was garbage so it doesn't exactly qualify as successful series, and acclaim definitely doesn't belong in the "Big Three"...

@LeoKRock: Oh I see you mean't first party titles... I thought you mean't franchises that were exclusive to consoles. My mistake.

I actually enjoyed 2, mainly for the battle mode, but yeah 1 was much better. I thought there was one on the gamecube as well. but its been so long.
