PlayStation Plus Is Losing Several Beloved Games In August

@jecht187: Yeah, this is not a lifetime private collection of games. What you are paying $7-10 or so a month is just access, access like to a music concert, not your own private, billy joel on your couch .... collecting dust waiting for you to ask him to play. It is not like anyone thought these games rotating in the collection would stay there forever, that is just crazy.

On that, I buy physical, every chance I can. And then resale, give away, barter, trade, etc. I am not a collector, but if I can resale a $60 game for $40 back on Amazon... that means I just paid $20 for my hobby I love so much, gaming. Once I beat a game, it is dead to me, I rarely replay games.

BUT... I do have subs to GP and PS+, and while these games rotate off, you often time, most times, are given these games monthly - I am not sure what PS is called Premium games or something. They offer 2-3 games on both consoles, give or take, that once you tag them or add them to your library, you then have access to them from then on. Mostly likely, only as long as the console exists.

So every time you see a free game per month on any of these subs, be sure to add it.

@gotgames: Every time you activate PS+ it turns on Auto Renew. You have to disable it every time.

If it just activated, you can probably get it refunded. But don't use email or chat services. Those guys suck. Use their call in service. I hear they're actually helpful.
