Overcooked and its sequel Overcooked 2 are getting smashed into one on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Overcooked: All You Can Eat includes new stages, cross-platform multiplayer, and new accessibility options, along with some revised visuals.

According to the announcement from Team 17, All You Can Eat has more than 200 levels, including seven new levels and three new chefs. It will run at 60 FPS in 4K resolution, with faster load times and new Trophies and Achievements to earn. Plus you'll be able to play cross-platform, which will be the first time the original Overcooked content gets online multiplayer.

A new assist mode will let you slow the timeouts on recipes, increase the durations on rounds, and skip levels. Plus you'll be able to scale the user interface, and the game will offer dyslexia-friendly text and colorblind options.

A trailer shows off the new content, and a set of comparison screenshots shows how the visuals have been tweaked for the new version.

Aww. I was excited at first, but a little disappointed we're not at least getting a new campaign with this one. It's cool we're getting a few new levels, but that's not really large enough to justify buying a new copy of the game, especially since the Xbox versions are already 100% guaranteed to be backward compatible (PS4 to PS5 TBA...)
